Beer Fears

Cheers to Thirsty Thursday! Today, I’m incorporating my VlogMom prompt from Lee Reyes-Fournier of coupledumb.com into a Thirsty-Thursday post. Fun, yes?

Do you have fears? We all do. I have some fairly irrational ones… and maybe even my fears about beer could be considered irrational too.

You be the judge. Cheers!

Good thing you can always search for new favorites! I made an amazing chili last fall with a pumpkin beer. Total improve. Yum. Must repeat.

I agree, Rajean!! Way back in the fall of 2011, when my beloved Screaming Pumpkin was practically pouring out of our ears, I also used it for chili. I have one bottle left… It will not be used to cook with. But I am on a mission to find a similar version. Do you remember what brewery the pumpkin beer you used came from?

No judgement here, Fadra. I understand that beer isn’t for everyone. I was an anti-IPA girl until earlier this year… and that didn’t happen without a bit of arm-twisting.

BTW, Red Wolf was my very first bar-beer!! I ordered it after a late-shift with my fellow servers back in my waitressing days in the hole-in-the-wall bar down the street from the restaurant… I was 18. I haven’t thought about that beer in years!
