Over the last week or so, I’ve passionately started writing a few posts of varying nature, full of excitement.

For some reason or another, I stalled out on all of them.

You ever feel this way when you’re writing?

You get this great idea… you start writing… then… BAM! Wall.

I’m sure I’m over-analyzing the posts… or maybe I’m simply procrastinating. Let’s face it, last week was beautiful here in west Michigan. Kinda hard to find the ambition to do anything indoors when we knew the practically perfect 60 degree weather wouldn’t be sticking around. I do truly believe in embracing the moment, and I not only had fun with my kids outside, but I got a lot done

Hopefully I’ll find a way to break down my walls and complete the posts I really feel deserve to be shared this week.

Any motivating tools or words of wisdom you could share?

When I hit a wall, I usually delete the post, or log out. I find that if I do hit a wall, whatever I’m blogging about is forced. When I do make a post, it’s something that flows from my fingers. So, I guess my tip would be to let things come naturally? If that makes any sense!

I like to write how I speak, so I never want it to seem robotic, or anything. I want readers to feel like I’m chatting with them :-)wr

I feel the same way. In fact, brain spillage is typically my style. The problem is, with 2 kids, interruptions are inevitable. I can usually get back to it and pick right up where I left off. Last week, that wasn’t happening. Just seemed to lose my stride.

First of all, I think you do a super fab job on your blog! 🙂

I find that I create blog posts best when driving or showering, both places I can’t write and then when I get home the “passion” seems to have gotten lost along the way. It’s really frustrating.

I often find that writing my posts out long hand gives me better posts posts.
