Holiday Memories: a certain 6 yr old shares her story

I love Christmas, and I LOVE decorating our tree, especially opening my “Natalie” box of ornaments & putting them on the tree all by myself. I love the Christmas songs we hear, sometimes I like to sing the songs I know when I hear them. I love baking biscotti with my Momma too. We wear aprons because the white chocolate we dip them in can get VERY messy, so ya gotta wear aprons if you wanna make biscotti. We also made ginger-snaps, and dipped pretzel sticks into the chocolate yesterday!

My favorite day was this one day, when I was very excited because I was going to see SANTA! So, I ran and I went very very fast! I had to wait in a very long line, because lots of other people wanted to see Santa too. I had to wait in the cold for hours! It was furrrEEEzing outside that day! But, while we waited, I got to pet a reindeer! The reindeer’s name was Comet. He came right over to me and his fur was so soft! Then we waited in the line some more. And waited. And waited. And then, the line got shorter & shorter, until it was OUR turn! I was so excited, but my sister Sedona thought it was a big man that we never met before, so she didn’t think it was Santa. But, it WAS! Sooo, I climbed up on Santa’s sleigh and gave him my list, all by myself. I took pictures with him, and Santa read the list I wrote. Santa said “Oh, you want a ‘You Draw Game’? Have you been a good girl this year?” and I said “YES!” I also wanted a toy robot and Santa said YES! I gave Santa a hug goodbye & said “Merry Christmas, Santa!”
Natalie is Momma’s spirited 6 year-old daughter.
She is a Kindergartener, loves to draw, read books, dance,
make up stories & songs, and wants to be an astronaut when she grows up.

Ok, ok, so I spill my beer, but my floors have never been more germ-free since I started putting a little alcohol on them. Who needs ammonia...
