How I Met My Partner

Thanks to Alissa from Clever Compass for coming up with today’s somewhat blush-inducing VlogMom topic!
You want more, don’t you?
How about a few vintage pictures of the hubs & I that are on display around our bedroom?

First of all, that’s so cool that you went to school w/Alissa! I’ve been w/my hubby since high school too, well I was in high school, he was in college 🙂 Great vlog!

Thanks, Tina! I know some people question how we could be together for so long… but I can’t imagine my life without him. I’m sure you know exactly what I mean!

My husband and I were high school sweet hearts too. Well, I was in high school and he was robbing the cradle.

    I like older men. 😉

    I liked your story.

Thanks, Jen!! I’m glad I’m not alone in the teenage-love-story boat. I know the odds may have been stacked against us, but… we knew true love when we had it! And yes, older men rock!

Those are such fun pictures. My romance started on a mutual love of music too. I tend to believe the best loves are founded on music LOL 🙂

Your story is full of common loves. Which is so fun. Loved your vlog!

How awesome that you have so many things in common! And the part about being related made me laugh out loud – awwwwkward!! 😉 Congrats on a great 17 years together.

Thanks, Stacey. I can laugh about “being related” now… but at the time, wow. I wanted to sink into that car-seat so fast!

That’s so cool how you met and then found each other later when… you were just a little bit older 😉 How did your mom feel about her high schooler dating a college guy? It is so important to have things in common, and I forget that Harry Connick Jr wasn’t always big. 🙂 But wow. 17 years. Apparently everyone’s been married way longer than me!

We met when I was in high school, and he was in college, but we didn’t start dating until a year later, the summer after I graduated high school. Only 2 years apart though… my mother adored Greg from the beginning. The “one” thing I did right in her book. HA!

I’ve been trying to figure out forever how I knew your husband (and I use that term lightly) – I met him after the Wizard of Oz performance at John Glenn (and talked to him for about two minutes)! I think I might have been Mike that introduced him to me… or was it Wendy? Wow. Mystery solved. 🙂
