Spice It Up!! Cholula Hot Sauce {Review/Giveaway}

**Please note, this giveaway has ended.**

Recently, the lovely people at Cholula contacted me about reviewing all four of their hot sauces. My initial reaction was… Shut the front door! My favorite brand of hot sauce offers more than one flavor?! Oh yes… I was all over this. When the 4-pack arrived, the hubs & I stood around the box like it was some sort of shrine, trying to come up with the perfect recipe that would allow us to incorporate all four flavors of Cholula. But the temptation to taste them immediately was too much to take.

So… we tasted each straight out of the bottle.

Oh yeah, we’re rockstars like that.

We couldn’t decide which one was our favorite, because they were all super yummy!

Cholula’s Chili-Lime flavor was first on my must-try-now list.

I want a little heat, and a lot of flavor in my hot sauces, and Cholula’s Chili Lime did not disappoint. The hint of sweetness from the lime flavor is a welcome addition to any hot sauce. I am making my Mean Green Chili this week, and believe me, this will be the perfect addition in the pot! I’ve also added it to my eggs, seafood, and it’s my new favorite popcorn topping! If you’re looking for a hot sauce that has more tangy flavor than heat, Cholula’s Chili-Lime is one you should definitely try.

Cholula’s Chili-Garlic

I have to admit, our bottle of Chili-Garlic sauce is nearly empty. *sniff-sniff* The hubs & I love it so much, we have been putting it on everything. We’re big garlic lovers in this house, so there was no question we’d end up falling madly in love with Cholula’s Chili-Garlic sauce. The garlic isn’t overpowering, ya know how some garlic flavors can stick around for hours? Not the case here. Cholula’s Chili-Garlic has been a beautiful addition to many italian dishes, my from scratch tomato basil bisque, and we love it on pizza too.

Cholula’s Chipotle

If you enjoy a little smoky flavor to your dishes, Cholula’s Chipotle should be in the front row of your spice-rack… or spice cupboard, if you’re like us — we have a full cupboard of spices & hot sauces! I made a batch of meatballs last month, and Cholula’s Chipotle sauce kicked up the flavor of my meatballs to perfection. Cholula’s Chipotle is also a nice addition to steak & chicken. Add a little of Cholula’s Chipotle to some ranch dressing and you have a fun dipping sauce if your kids enjoy dipping their carrots or chicken nuggets.

Cholula’s Original Flavorful Fire

The familiar, tangy flavor of Cholula’s Original Sauce is a comfort to me. I admittedly get a little giddy when I see it on a table when I go out to eat.  Cholula Original Sauce is full of flavor and just the right amount of heat for me. FYI – I lived in Tucson for 3 years, I know this for a fact — good, authentic Mexican food shouldn’t burn your lips off! Cholula Original never disappoints me with an overwhelming amount of heat from too many peppers. The flavor practically dances on my tongue, bringing out the best flavors in each dish, or drink I add it to.

Every single one of Cholula’s sauces offers the perfect balance of flavor & heat. I don’t know if I could ever purchase another brand of hot sauce after enjoying these sauces on just about every dish I’ve made since receiving this four-pack.

Cholula is so awesome, they are offering up a coupon if you like them on Facebook for ALL of you — and — a 4-pack of Cholula hot sauces to one of my beautiful readers!!

    Ok, here’s another… Since I don’t cook, I would make a Ro*tel-ish melty cheese dipping sauce for chips with the chili-lime sauce.

    First dish I’d put the Cholula in is probably buffalo chicken dip. I’ve really had a taste for it lately.

    I’m adverse to hot things. Even pepper is too hot for me sometimes (such a wimp). So I’d set this out when we are visiting family during the holidays so my brother could slather it on his eggs in the morning.
