Yesterday, I posted a cleansing, but moderately negative Tis the Season post. If you didn’t catch it, take a moment. It’s a quick and pretty humorous read. I only promote that post because today, as promised, I’m posting the positive side of that phrase.
Tis the Season to…
… light up with smiles
… be sappy
… find joy in the simple things
… feel like a child
… cherish your children
… lie to your children about Santa
… be naughty
… find magic in a snowfall
… enjoy smelling a burning fireplace in the snow
… drive around, just to look at lights
… put a tree in your hosue
… listen & sing along to Sinatra, Ella, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr., Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Vince Guaraldi Trio and John Denver & the Muppets non-stop.
… give to loved ones
… give to strangers
… embrace every moment
Hope that put the positive spirit back into your stressed out holly-days. Over the next few weeks, I will be featuring Holiday Guest Posts. Thanks to all of the contributers! If you have a fun holiday memory or tradition to share, there is still time to send your story into me. Just send it to email@example.com Deadline is Thursday, December 2 at midnight.
